Compared with the two previous years the number of prosecutions during
]923 shows a very marked decrease.

837 samples of milk were analysed, of which 13, or 15 per cent., were
adulterated.
Table F shows the number of samples of milk examined and the
percentage of adulteration during the last eight years.
