35, Stepney Green. Monday, 9.30 a.m.—5.30 p.m.
Tuesday, 9 30 a.m.—8 p.m.
Whitechapel Dispensary, Wednesday, 9.00 a.m.—lp.m.
18, Gt. Prescot Street. Thursday, 9.30 a.m.—5.30 p.m.
St. George's Dispensary, Friday, 9.30 a.m.—5.30 p.m.
208, High Street, Shadwell. Saturday, 9.30 a.m.—12 noon.
Finsen Light Treatment.
Arrangements are made with the London Hospital to undertake Finsen
Light Treatment respecting patients needing such treatment and residing in
this Borough, for which payments are made by the Borough Council.
Eleven applications have been received during the year from the London
Hospital respecting five patients, and payment has been guaranteed for 132
attendances.
Pneumonia, Malaria, Dysentery and Trench Fever
Regulations.
358 cases were notified under these Regulations. Of these, 354 were
Pneumonia and 4 Malaria.

Diseases of the Respiratory Organs.
676 deaths were due to diseases of the Respiratory Organs, or 270 less
than in the previous year.
156 belonged to the Limehouse District, or at the rate of 2.99 per
1,000 of the population.
116 belonged to St. George-in-the-East, or at the rate of 2.82 per
1,000 of the population.
238 belonged to Mile End Old Town, or at the rate of 2.26 per 1,000
of the population.
166 belonged to the Whitechapel District, or at the rate of 3.03 per
1,000 of the population.
The death-rate for the whole Borough was 2.66 per 1,000 of the
population.
