I can add little to the remarks made in this section in
preceding Reports,or to what I have already said in the introduction
to this Annual Report Our aim must be to eliminate conditions
which prejudice the health and well-being of those who
live or work in Wood Green As any district becomes older, this
task becomes more difficult, more imperative. I am fully aware
that the Borough Council has this point well in mind, and that
everything possible is being done to maintain and to improve
standards in Wood Green so that conditions will not be allowed
to deteriorate.
