FACTORY AND WORKSHOP ACT, 1901.
The Workshops and Workplaces in the District have been
visited, as will be seen from the Inspector's Report, and various
sanitary defects remedied without any recourse to legal proceedings,
indeed, on the whole we have found occupiers of Workshops, &c.,
willing to carry out any suggested improvements.
There is only one Workshop in the District with any Outworkers.
The underground Bakehouse, referred to in my report of last
year, was granted a Certificate by the Council during the year, the
Shed objected to having been removed.
