FIFTH ANNUAL REPORT

PROVISION OF MEALS TO SCHOOL CHILDREN
AND TO EXPECTANT AND NURSING MOTHERS
AND CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS IN WILLES-
DEN DURING 1919.
PROVISION OF MEALS—SCHOOL CHILDREN.
During the year ended 31st December, 1919, there have been three Feeding Centres open,
controlled by the Education Committee and one Voluntary Centre. 102,632 meals have been supplied
to school children from these centres.
The Staff employed at each of the Committee Centres is approximately an assistant to every
50 or 60 children, as shewn in Table No. 64, due regard being paid to the particular arrangements
at each centre.

The dietary has been very slightly varied since that adopted in 1917, to meet the various
food orders that have been issued from time to time.
