The following Table, No. 29, gives the results of
examinations of samples of milk for tubercle bacilli in each
completed year since the above methods of sampling and
examination have been in operation in Willesden:—

Food Inspection.—On no occasion during the year was
it necessary to resort to compulsory seizure of diseased
meat or unsound food.
The following foodstuffs were surrendered voluntarily
by local fishmongers and subsequently destroyed:

3 boxes of kippers 30 lbs.
1 box of kippers 10 lbs.
1 box of cod roes 40 lbs.
1 box of skate 36 lbs.
206 lbs.
Slaughter Houses.—The slaughter houses in the district
were inspected during the process of slaughtering as
frequently as possible, and the organs of all the animals
seen slaughtered examined. In no instance was evidence of
disease discovered during the year. The premises were
kept in a cleanly condition and the bye-laws duly observed.
