Rate of Increase of Population for Age Periods.—
The following Table, No. 7, shews the increase per cent,
of the population for the various age-periods at the Census,
1911 as compared with 1901.

It may be inferred from the above Table No. 7 that
the population as a whole is becoming older, i.e., the
average age of the population has increased since the
Census of 1901.
