and does not comply, no salary is allowed for the time
during which the teacher is absent from school on account
of his non-compliance with the requirements of the School
Medical Officer.
The Blind.—A School for Blind Children is not maintained
by the Authority. But children are sent to day or
residential institutions for the blind from time to time.
During the year one blind child was reported to the
Education Committee by the School Medical Officer.
The following Table, No. 10G, gives certain particulars
with regard to the blind children being educated by the
Education Committee, at the end of the year 1913:—
