SCARLET FEVER.
Exactly the same number of cases were admitted
as in 1906. The total under treatment for the year
was 575 cases.
Seven deaths occurred in November out of a
total of 16 for the year. All the seven cases died
during the earliest days of the illness, the symptoms
being of unusual severity. The mortality of 3.2 per
cent. for the year is higher than it has been for some
years.
