Notices were given in these cases to carry out
the requirements of the Statute, which were duly
complied with.
The boats generally were in good and clean
condition, and the occupants courteous in giving
necessary information.
INFANT LIFE PROTECTION ACT.
No new premises were registered under this
Act during the year, nor are there any existing premises
or persons registered.
Inquiries were made in all cases of deaths registered
of illegetimate children, with the view of
obtaining information that might lead to the discovery
of any infringements of this Statute.

Proceedings had to be taken to enforce the orders of the Council in six instances as follows, viz.:—
