DENSITY OF POPULATION.
The District has an area of 1,509 acres. The average
number of persons to the acre at the Census of 1911 was 6.9.
The number of persons to each acre is now estimated as 7.1.

BIRTH RATE.
The nett number of births registered in the District
during the year was 212, as compared with 224 in 1911.
Of these births 93 were male and 119 female.
The Birth Rate, calculated as the rate per 1,000 of the
population, is 20.2, as compared with 21.3 in the previous
year.
The nett illegitimate births registered give a proportion
of 19 per 1,000 of the total births.
