The 742 include 6 informal samples of milk (5 adulterated) and 18 of
butter (7 adulterated).
Prosecutions were undertaken in respect of 35 of the 64 formal samples
which were reported as being adulterated. In 2 other cases proceedings were
instituted in respect of other offences under the Sale of Food and Drugs Acts.
