PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS.
The deaths occurring from Pulmonary Tuberculosis
(Consumption or Phthisis) numbered 6. This is equal to a
Death Rate of 0.6 per thousand of population.
OTHER RESPIRATORY DISEASES.
The deaths occurring from diseases of the respiratory
system numbered 18, giving a Death Rate of 1.9 per thousand
of population.
CANCER.
The deaths from Cancer (malignant disease) were 11
(4 males, 7 females), the Death Rate from Cancer being 1.1
per thousand of population.
INFLUENZA.
During the year 4 deaths occurred from Influenza, giving
a Death Rate of 0.4 per thousand of population.
