Factories Acts, 1937 and 1948.
There are 130 factories on the Council's register at the present
time.
One hundred and twelve visits of inspection were made by the
Sanitary Inspectors during the year.
Six defects or contraventions were found and 6 abated.
The following is a copy of the return relating to the year 1954, which has been supplied to the Minister of Labour and National Service:—
