AUDIOMETRY.
Report of the County Audiometrician
(Miss Margaret O'Leary).
An Audiometric Survey of School Children in the following
School Departments: Primary, Secondary, Special, and County
High Schools, which together totalled 19 Departments, was carried
out in the Borough of Leyton from February, 1950, to July, 1950.
Facilities for Testing
Conditions for Group Testing in this Borough have been very
difficult, due to the overcrowding of Schools and the limited number
of accessory rooms available. However, most teachers did cooperate
to the very best of their ability, and the following are the
results of the Survey:—
