There are now thirty-three persons registered in accordance
with the Milk and Dairies (Amendment) Act, 1922, as under:—

(b) Meat.
During the year the proprietor of the Cherry Farm slaughterhouse
notified the Council that he proposed to work in three
shifts throughout the twenty-four hours. As it was impossible
to make adequate inspection with the staff available, an additional
temporary meat inspector was appointed to assist in the
task.
