F (4) National Assistance Act 1948.
Section 47.
Sanitary conditions and the associated home circumstances
of many aged persons have been kept under
review, and where indicated, the necessary improvement has
been effected.
One case, a female, was removed to hospital under the
provisions of the National Assistance (Amendment) Act,
1951.

In accordance with the prescribed requirements of the
Home Secretary's licence, one re-interment at Erith Cemetery
was supervised during the year.
