D(14)e. Housing Repars and Rents Act 1954. Section 1.
In accordance with the provisions of the above Act
and in Pursuance of Circular 55/54 dated 28th August
1954, a five year slum clearance programme was formulated,
as a result of which 141 privately owned houses and
81 Corporation properties were scheduled as being indicative
of the appropriate housing action.
