F(5). Food and Drugs Act, 1938.

As from 1st October, 1939, the Sanitary Inspectors have administered accordingly, and the following samples were submitted to the Borough Analyst for examination:—

As will be seen from the above table, all the samples
procured were reported upon by the Public Analyst as being
genuine, and of good quality.
F(6). Offensive Trades.
In addition to the statutory Offensive Trades specified
under Section 107 Public Health Act, 1936, fish frying was
on 17th March, 1939, declared to be an offensive trade within
the Borough, and Bye-laws were made accordingly.
There are no offensive trades, other than fish frying
premises of which there are 12 within the Borough.
