E(6)d. Shops Acts 1912-1938.
The Shops Act, 1912, provides for the closing of shops
to customers not later than one o'clock in the afternoon on one
week day in every week. The Erith Weekly Half-Holiday
Order dated 17th February, 1913, and made under Section 4
of the Act prescribes Thursday as the general Weekly HalfHoliday.
