All prospective and selected tenants for Council houses are
visited by the Sanitary Inspectors who subsequently report to
the Housing Committee upon the condition of the applicant's
household contents.
E (7) k. Cleansing of Verminous Persons.
No cleansing station is provided by this Authority but
cases requiring treatment can obtain it by arrangement with
the Dartford Hospital.
E (7) I. Swimming Baths and Pools.
An open air swimming bath is provided by the Council.
The water is mechanically filtered and regularly sampled.
During 1988, 12 samples were taken for bacteriological examination,
all of which proved to be satisfactory.
E (7) m. Schools.
All schools in the District have been visited at least twice
during the year by a member of my Staff. Any defects located
are reported to the Education Committee. All Schools within
the District are supplied with the Metropolitan Water Board's
water supply.

Report as School Medical Officer.
