COUNCIL'S EMPLOYEES.
During 1950 the Medical Officer of Health paid a total of 160 visits to
those employees who had been on the sick list for longer than a fortnight and
when necessary, at fortnightly intervals. Of these 22 were "not at home"
and 11 had already resumed duty.
Also, during the year, 46 persons were examined prior to appointment to
permanent posts.
