COUNCIL'S EMPLOYEES
During 1939 tho Medical Officer of Health paid a total number of 100
visits to those employees who had been onbthe sick list longer than a
fortnight and, when necessary, at fortnightly intervals. Of these 12
were "not at home" and one had already resumed duty.
Also, during the year, 35 persons were examined prior to their
appointment to permanent posts.
