Ice Cream.
The 319 registered ice cream premises in the Borough were
all visited during the year and the source of supply checked. It
was found that their ice cream is obtained from one of the 7
registered manufacturers in the Borough or from the 22 manufacturers
outside the Borough. Samples from each of these 29
manufacturers were taken once or more during the year, a total of 96
samples of ice cream, ice cream constituents and ice lollies being
submitted for bacteriological examination.
