During the year 61 dairies were removed from, and 51 added to
the register, leaving 268 on the register at the end of the year.
One application for registration was refused, as the premises
were unsuitable.
Nineteen notices were served during the year for various matters
requiring attention on the premises of dairymen, all of which were
complied with at the end of the year.
ICE CREAM VENDORS.
All premises where ice cream was known to be made were
regularly visited during the season. All were found in a fairly
satisfactory condition, and there was no occasion to serve any
notices during the year.
