INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
Food.
Complaint was received regarding a piece of solder
in a loaf of bread. A strong letter of warning was sent
to the manufacturer concerned.
Milk.
Complaint was receiveed regarding a splinter of
glass alleged to have been found in a bottle of milk. A
strong letter of warning was forwarded to the dairy
concerned.
Meat.
A specimen of cooked fat from the popliteal space
of a T.K. lamb was forwarded to the County Laboratory
for examination. The nodules consisted of structureless
material affording no specific histological picture Tubercle
bacilli not found in Z.N. sections.
Milk.
Licences granted by the Council under the Milk
(Special Designations) (Pasteurised and Sterilised Milk)
Regulations, 1949.
