Beef and Veal.—The figures show a decrease of home-produced supplies in England
and Wales, but an increase in consignments from Scotland and Ireland.
Mutton and Lamb.—There was a considerable increase in the amount of mutton and
lamb from England and Wales, but a large decrease from Scotland.
Bacon and Pork.—The figures show considerable decrease in home-produced supplies.
Poultry, Game, Rabbits, Eggs, Butter, Cheese and Sundries.—There was very little difference
between the amounts of those home-produced articles and those of 1932.
Of the 456,413 tons, Home Produce consisted of 25.8 per cent., Dominion 28.0 per cent.
and Foreign 46.2 per cent.
