Medical officers of health derive their information as to the occurrence of cases of measles mainly
from the teachers of elementary schools. The majority of the annual reports show the number of
cases of this disease concerning which the medical officers of health received intimation, and the
following table has been compiled from the information thus supplied :—

The majority of the reports of medical officers of health give account of steps taken to limit
measles prevalence in their districts. The general rule is for the invaded house to be visited, and advice,
