*The figures here given are probably not complete, as they were obtained by inquiry at the several lodging
houses. For instance, the Church Army alone gave away 357 tickets for men, and the Willow-street Mission 153
tickets for women. These two bodies, however, would distribute the bulk of the free tickets.
