Measles.
The deaths from measles in the Administrative County of London during 1908 (53 weeks)
numbered 1,524, as compared with 1,801 in 1907 (52 weeks).
The death-rates from this disease per 1,000 persons living in 1908 and preceding periods have

Inasmuch as the birth-rate has not been constant during these periods and the proportion of
