Four mothers paid the entire cost of two dentures each.
Three mothers paid the entire cost of one denture each.

The Societies who made contributions towards the cost of dentures were the Metropolitan
Hospital Sunday Fund, £10 5s. 0d.; the Metropolitan Hospital Saturday Fund, £4 3s. 6d.,
the Charity Organisation Society, £6 5s. 0d.; the Public Assistance Office, £4 0s. 0d.; and
various other societies, £4 15s. 0d.
The Charity Organisation Society, in previous years, made contributions towards the
cost of dentures provided under this scheme, but are no longer able to do so owing to shortage
of funds.
The general supervision of the work, arranging appointments, recording attendances
and the collection of contributions, etc., is carried out by Miss E. M. Robinson, the Superintendent
of the Argyle Square Centre.
Dental treatment is also provided at the voluntary clinic which is held at the St.
Pancras School for Mothers, see page 34. The Eastman Dental Clinic, a lavishly equipped
institution, attached to the Royal Free Hospital, is also available for patients of similar type,
and the Welfare Centre held in connection with the University College Hospital is able to
refer cases needing dental treatment to the dental department of that hospital.
