§ 4.—SCHOOLS.
A list of the Day Schools in St. Pancras under the Education Department and
the London School Board, with their accommodation, was set out in the Annual
Report for 1897.
An account of the case of the North London Collegiate School for Girls, a
Day School not under the Education Department, and the various powers of entry
upon premises by the Sanitary Authority, was given under the head of Entry
in the Annual Report for 1898.
During the past year the Woman Sanitary Inspector has not been refused entry
upon any Day School.

§ 5.—WORKSHOPS AND FACTORIES.

The following table shows the work of the Sanitary Inspectors of Workshops and Factories during the year 1899.

The above return, with regard to women, embraces the work of both the
present Woman Inspector and her predecessor.
The time of the Inspector of Men's Workplaces was partly occupied in acting
also as District Inspector during the resignation or absence of Inspectors from
various causes. The time so spent was as follows:—
Southern portion of West Division 4 months, 2 weeks.

Total 8 months, 1 week.
