SANITATION.
THE MORTUARIES.
The next annual report, it is to be trusted, will contain an account of some
useful work done by the Public Mortuaries for infectious and non-infectious dead.
It can only be recorded at present that the Mortuaries together with the attached
buildings approach completion.
INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
Notification.—The following number of infectious cases have come to the
knowledge of the Sanitary Department from various sources:—
