Tubercular Diseases.
The number of deaths from Tubercular Diseases agrees
closely with that of last year. During the preceding seven
years there has been an average number of 131.5 deaths from
these diseases in every 1000 deaths from all causes, or 2.7 in
every 1000 persons living. In 1881 the proportion of deaths
from these diseases has been 121.2 in every 1000 deaths
from all causes, or 2.5 in every 1000 of population living.
In London the proportion has been 2-5 in every 1000 living.

The following table shows the number of deaths from these diseases in the different sub-districts, exclusive of 166 who died in public institutions in the parish and in other parts of the Metropolis :—
