Table VIII gives details of the sanitary operations carried out
in the Borough during the year.
The number of drains which were tested was 434 and 980 were
cleansed or repaired. The drains of 42 houses were reconstructed.
Damp conditions have been remedied in 1,597 premises, and
in 83 of these damp courses were inserted.
