*The Plaster Rind in the above cheeses consisted of Barytes
and Tallow.
The above results show that 7.44 per cent. of the milk
samples we reported as not up to legal standard. In the case of
the butter samples, 7.23 per cent. were found to be unsatisfactory,
while 80 per cent. of the samples of cheese analysed were reported
against. Of the cream submitted, 50 per cent. were
adulterated.
