Prevalence of infectious Disease. The following Table No. VIII. takes the place
of the former "Table B," and gives the
number of cases notified from each of the notifiable
infectious diseases, classifying the cases in six age periods.
The Table also gives the number of cases removed to
hospitals.
During the year, 120 notifications were received.
63 were cases of Scarlet Fever, 33 of Diphtheria and
Membranous Croup, 13 of Enteric, and 11 of Erysipelas.
83 of the cases were removed to hospital.
The following shows the number of cases notified
during each of the last six years in the sub-district:—
