institutions under the control of the Wands-.
worth and Clapham Union; 11 in general
and special hospitals in various parts of the Metropolis ;
one in a hospital under the control of the Metropolitan
Asylums Board, and one "elsewhere." The number of
deaths recorded in outlying institutions during the
preceding year was 33.
