    The climatic conditions associated with these deaths are that during the prevalence of the epidemics of Whooping-Cough and Measles, the great majority of the deaths from these diseases occurred in the autumn and winter quarters coincidently with an unusually low temperature, the latter operating unfavourably on these diseases by the development of pulmonic complications.
