Factories.
17 new factories were added to the Register, dealing with
(a) Marconi appliances, 1; (b) carpentry, 1; (c) soap and candle,
1; (d) mineral waters, 1; (e) cartridge boxes, 1; (f) compasses,
1 ;,(g) book-binding, 1.
Workshops.
16 new workshops were added to the Register, dealing with :
(a) dressmaking 2, tailoring 2, blouses 7, mantles 2, and not
classified 3.
* Miss L. Hoskin commenced her duties as an additional Health Visitor
(temporarily) on May 7th, 1917.
