Hospital) does not visi at the patients' own homes, such visit to be paid, as required, by the Medical Officer connected
with the Central Dispensary (73 Effra Road, Brixton).
§ The number are approximate only, no exact figures for the Branch Dispensary being available, properrecord not
having been kept during the' first half of the year 1917. Other visits, in addition, were made during 1917 by the Council,s
Health Visitors to houses, wherein tuberculosis patients were notified, as following:-(a) area covered by the Central Dispensary,
1060; (i) area covered by the Branch Disoensirv 914;making a total of 1917.
N.B.-Nurse Mary S. Angus resigned her appoinment as tuberculosis nurse at the Central Dispensary during1917, and was succeeded
by Nurse Cissy Small, appointed temporarily on April 26th, 1917, and permanentil on October 19th, 1917.
