INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.

Dairies and Milkshops.
At the end of the year the register showed 55 shops classed
as dairies. There were also 75 milkshops on the register, i.e.,
shops where dairy produce is sold, but where it does not form
the principal trade.
Thirty-two of the dairies are situated outside Hornsey but
deliver milk within the Borough.
Special Designated Milk Licences.
Producers of, and dealers in, special designated milks are
required to obtain licences annually.
