ORTHOPÆDICS.
The Surgeon attends monthly and the Masseuse three times
weekly for the treatment of elementary school children and
children under five.
The following are the statistics for the year:—

The cost, which is divided proportionately between the Education
and Maternity and Child Welfare Committees, was
£25 11s. 1d. for the treatment of children under five years for
the year to 31st March, 1936.
SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE AREA.
(Section C).
The Minister of Health requires information on extensions
or developments regarding—
(1) Water supply.
(2) Drainage and sewerage.
(3) Rivers and streams—Prevention of pollution.
(4) Closet accommodation.
(5) Public cleansing.
(6) Sanitary inspection of the area.
(7) Smoke abatement.
(8) Schools.
All these essential services are fully developed and maintained
at the highest possible level of efficiency.
SANITARY INSPECTION.
The following statement of the work of the Sanitary
Inspectors has been prepared by Mr. Henry Eastwood, Chief
Sanitary Inspector:—
