Illegitimate Births number 25 in 1908. In 1907 there
were 26 illegitimate births recorded. The proportion of illegitimate
births of the total births is a very low one, viz.: 1.6 per
cent.
Five of the illegitimate births occurred in the Edmonton
Workhouse, and in the following table these have been allocated
to the Wards in which the mothers resided before seeking admission
to the Workhouse:—
