On December 19th, 1911, the Medical Officer of Health again reported to
the Public Health Committee as follows:—
"I have to report that the disease, so far as can be judged by the notifications,
shows a tendency to fall, as during the last two weeks the teachers of the
public elementary schools have reported 155 and 141 cases, making a total of
290 cases, as compared with 346 in the preceding fortnight.

The number of schools affected was 33, and the number of cases at each school was as follows:—
