House to house inspections were carried out in the following
localities:—
Queen's Arms court, Hankey place, Bear lane, Cardol place, Little
Surrey street, Stamford street, King James street, Milcote street, Dodson
street, Surrey row, Union street, Boddy's bridge, Upper Ground place,
Prioress street, Redcross street, Friar street, Belvedere buildings, Mermaid
court, Tabard street, Gilbert's buildings, Paris gardens, Sussex
house, Weston street, Park street, Valentine place, Gray street.
During the year 461 inspections and 1,847 re-visits were made of
the various registered houses by Miss Burrows.
479 intimation and 227 statutory notices were served. 561 sanitary
works were carried out.

The following nuisances have been abated:—
