The following work of supervision was carried out by Mr. Nicholson
during the year:—
MILKSELLERS. 1,617 inspections of the various milkshops were made. The following nuisances were discovered, in respect to which 46 intimation and 9 statutory notices were served :—

| Unsuitable premises | 2 cases |
| Paraffin sold | 1 case |
| Total | 71 cases |
All the above nuisances were remedied.
NOXIOUS TRADES. There are two premises in the Borough upon which noxious businesses or trades are carried on. The following are the premises :—

The Inspector made 8 inspections of these premises during the year.
No nuisance was discovered.
The periodical process of limewashing and cleansing was duly carried
out.
