(5) Poor Law Medical Out Relief.
The following information was furnished by the London County
Council:—

(6) Laboratory Facilities.
(a) Chemical Analysis.
Arrangements are made with an analytical chemist who is approved
by the Minister of Health. All examinations are carried out at the Public
Analyst's own laboratory which is situate at 139, St. Leonard's Road,
Poplar. The report of the Public Analyst is given on page 83.
(b) Bacteriological.
(i) All sputa examinations are made at the Council's Tuberculosis
Dispensary.
(ii) Examination of diphtheria swabs and Widal tests and examination
of stools and urine are carried out by arrangement with the Seamen's
Hospital Society, Dreadnought Hospital, Greenwich.
(iii) Wasserman tests and examination of smears are done at the
London Hospital under the Venereal Disease Scheme for London.
(7) Legislation in force.
In addition to the various Acts generally in force in London, and to
the Orders under Agricultural Produce (Grading and Marking) Act, 1929,
and the Merchandise Marks Acts, the following Byelaws, etc., are operative
in the Borough:—
