VITAL STATISTICS.
AREA AND POPULATION.
The area of the Borough is 2,136 acres, and the population, estimated
to the middle of 1929 Registrar-General, was 160,000. this
estimated population is used in calculating various rates in the Report,
as the estimated population for 1930 will not be available for some time.
The population of 160,000 gives a density figure of 75 persons
per acre.
