ACUTE POLIOMYELITIS.
3 notifications were received. The 3 cases were treated in hospital
and 1 was subsequently certified to be not suffering from the disease,
leaving 2 true cases.
ACUTE ENCEPHALITIS LETHARGICA.
No notifications were received. The death of a patient who was
notified in 1924 was recorded.
Cases of Encephalitis Lethargica are kept under observation until
the acute stage has passed. Subsequently, periodical visits are made and
reports as to the condition of patients are forwarded to the London County
Council.
Excluding the case which died during the year, 25 cases were investigated
. The following is a summary of the reports submitted:—
